William “Bill” Brake

ERLANGER- William J. “Bill” Brake, 86, passed away Tuesday July 15th at St Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a member of St Henry Parish since high school, very active with the Knights of Columbus, coached all five of his sons in Knothole Baseball and was an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Brake and Sister Angie Wilmhof. Survivors include his wife Rita Brake of Erlanger, sons Dave(Cindy) Brake of Villa Hills, Don Brake of Erlanger, Terry(Renee) Brake of Erlanger, Tom(Joan)Brake of Abingdon VA, Ray(Jayne)Brake of Burlington, sisters Ester Lageman of Erlanger, Marcie Schwartz of Erlanger, Lucille Cummings of Edgewood and brother Joe Brake of Edgewood. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday July 17th from 9am to 11am with mass to follow at St Henry Church in Elsmere.
