Wayne Farrar

Wayne T. Farrar, age 82, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Florence. He was a resident of Burlington and a member of Bullittsville Christian Church. Wayne was the former director of Camp Ernst for the YMCA and proud Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Gladys as well as his brother Donald and sister Ruth Parker. Survivors include his wife Wanda (nee Schmidt) Farrar; 1 son Robert A. Farrar of Hill City, SD; 3 daughters Karen L. Murr , Laura A Ellis both of Verona and Susan M. Richerson of Walton; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Memorials should be made to YMCA Camp Ernst, 7613 Camp Ernst Road Burlington , KY 41005 or to Bullittsville Christian Church, 3094 Petersburg Road Burlington, KY 41005 Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington. Services will be Thursday 11:00am at Bullittsville Christian Church. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
