Dave and Teresa Wert along with Betty Wert

My wife and I along with my mother, Betty, want the family to know they are in our thoughts and prayers. My brothers and I grew up next door to the Burgans and couldn’t have asked for better, more kind neighbors. Ron will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Sympathy message

A truly great man has let this earth for Heaven, our condolences to his family.

From a neighbor, Dennis Wert…

My heart goes out to the family of Ron. You guys are great people and we were fortunate to have you as neighbors (though the Wert boys weren’t always the best neighbors to have). Ron was always so understanding even when we kept him up at night doing side-yard camp outs. He kept a strong even keel. He’s a good man and I will always keep those memories dear. Please accept my heart-felt condolences.
