Rick Frey

Raymond “Rick” Frey, 67, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, December 30,
2023, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. Rick was born on March 13, 1956, in Louisville, KY
to the late Raymond and Rosemary Frey.

Rick grew up in Northern Kentucky and was a graduate from the class of 1975 at Lloyd High
School. He worked as an insurance adjuster for Westfield Insurance Company until he retired.
Rick had a strong love and passion for restoring vintage cars. He loved racing, especially going
to the Florence Speedway and enjoyed taking trips to Pigeon Forge, TN for the Rod Run car
shows. Rick was a hard worker, who would give the shirt off his back. He would always help a
friend in need. Rick loved his family dearly and he will be missed by all who had the privilege of
knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rosemary Frey and one brother, Robert
Frey.

Those left here to carry on his legacy are his loving wife of 36 years, Denise Frey; son, Tim
(Andrea) Frey; daughter, Erin Rider; granddaughter, Aria; great granddaughter, Emerson;
several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at
Linnemann Funeral Home 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Rick’s name to the Leukemia
Foundation.
