Rev. Louis Jasper

Rev. Louis Jasper, 90, entered eternal life on December 26, 2014 at Rosedale Manor in Covington, KY. Father Jasper was born to Herman George and Marie Jasper on December 23, 1924 in Carrollton, KY. Ordained to the priesthood by Bishop William T. Mulloy on June 2, 1951. He served the Diocese of Covington in many ways, which included: co-directing the Catholic Youth Organization, faculty at St. Henry, Newport Catholic, Covington Catholic High Schools; pastoral work at St. Henry, St. Francis, St. Agnes, St. Ann; as well as ministering as chaplain at Madonna Manor. He was preceded by his parents and siblings Clifford Jasper and Marguerite Mefford. Father Jasper is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Agnes Church in Ft. Wright, KY from 8 AM to 9:15 AM with Mass to follow at 9:30AM and burial at 1 PM at St. John The Evangelist Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
