Paul R. Loechle, 82, of Union, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Legacy Living in Florence, KY, surrounded by his loving family. Paul retired as a Principal of St. Ursula Villa in Mt. Lookout, OH after 22 years. He also worked for 13 years at the Hamilton County Welfare Department, where he served as Director of Education at Allen House. He started teaching at Notre Dame Academy, where he met his lovely wife, Sue. Additionally, he was an active parishioner at St. Timothy Catholic Church.

Paul is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue Loechle; his children, Eric (Heather) Loechle and Annie (Aaron Steele) Loechle; and his siblings, Barbara Murray, John (Judy) Loechle, Patty Mann, and Joe (Suzi) Loechle.

He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Josh and Annie Border.

Wonderful Leader!

Susan,
We are so sorry we are in Michigan for Paul’s service. He was a wonderful, quiet, thoughtful leader at SUV. What a fine example he set for our children. We will be forever grateful. Our prayers for your family during this time of loss.

Paul Loechle

Susan Im so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. Terry and I were just speaking of Paul this past week. Remembering how wonderful a leader he was for the students and faculty of the Villa. I will always remember his wonderful smile, his love and compassion for the children and families at the school. All of his actions and decisions were made under an umbrella of love and faith. I was so fortunate to have worked under his tutorage and to call him my friend. Paul’s presence in the world made it a better place just because he was in it. Our prayers are offered up for your family in this difficult time of loss, I know that Paul no longer needs them. He was one of the good guys. Sandy Kelley
