Norma worked as a switchboard operator for the Fireman’s Fund Insurance and later with Peck, Schaefer and Williams. She also enjoyed Friday morning breakfast with her sister and brother-in-law, the casino every weekend with her nieces and nephew, the race track, bingo, trips to Daytona Beach Florida and Gatlinburg and all of the other places she traveled, holiday gatherings with the entire family, but most important to Norma, was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and spending time with them, whom she loved dearly.

Norma was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Shouse; her mother, Nina Gillespie; her husband, Thomas Hamilton; and her siblings, Wanda Adams, James Shouse, and Mildred Irene Crim.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Deb (Ronald) Woods and Denise (Kevin) Quinn; her grandchildren, Ronnie (Jamie) Woods, Tom (Brandye) Woods, Dustin (Erica) Smith, Bryan (Stephanie) Smith, and Peyton Quinn; her great-grandchildren, Lou Woods, Madison Woods, Olivia Woods, Preston Woods, Kinsley Smith, Blakely Smith, Emilia Smith, Owen Smith, Aspyn Thomas (Tanner), Trey Johnson, Jadyn Johnson; and her great-great-grandchildren, Rayder and Rayge Woods, and Kaylee and Asher Vance.

Norma also will be missed by her sister, Carol (Dan) Duell and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Norma will be on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 5:30PM-7:30PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY. Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 9:30AM at Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger, KY. She will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, KY.
