Neal Christian Breier

Obituary
Condolences

In his quiet, sincere way, Neal (aka Chip to family & old friends) touched the lives of many.  And
so it is with much sorrow that his family shares the news of his passing after a hard-fought battle
with pancreatic cancer on April 20, 2024 at the age of 73.

Neal was the much loved father of Adam (Krystine) and Megan (Matt Johnson); grandfather of
Donovan & Violet; and kind & loving brother of Ann (Kevin Smith). Predeceased by parents Neal
Sr. and Henrietta (nee Luehrmann).

Neal graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Pharmacy and practiced as a
pharmacist for 40 years.  He was an avid tennis player since his years at McNicholas High
School (Class of 1969). Although an introvert, he loved games of all kinds and brought friends
and family together around the table or across the net for friendly banter and competition, and
the occasional attempt to shoot the moon. His laugh, while hard to elicit, was genuine and
contagious.

Neal was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know him.

Family & friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday, April 25, 2024, 5-
7pm. Contact a family member for further details. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Tennis for
Charity, Inc. in his memory.

One of the nicest guys I’ve ever known

Chip and I went to McNicholas High School together. As seniors, I put together a “folk group” with four guys and four girls to sing and play at a school talent show. Chip was part of that group and we had a great time. Otherwise, we didn’t hang around each other too often but he truly was once of the nicest guys I’ve ever know.

Ken Serger

High School Friend

Chip and I served as student council officers our senior year. I remember one of the teachers telling him that he would never make it through pharmacy school, so it was sweet revenge that he became a pharmacist. In face the was the pharmacist for my dad. A good person and I have many fond memories of him. Sincere condolences to the family.

Chip from class of 69

Chip was a very happy upbeat person who seemed to always have a smile on his face. RIP Chip

Deepest Sorrow for Chip’s passing.

Adam, Megan and families, we are so sorry for your loss. Wish we could join you for the celebration of your Dad’s life. All of you are in our prayers. With much love…Judy and Lou
