Mary Ann Cook

Obituary
Condolences

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ann (Rouse) Cook, a beautiful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

Born on June 30, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Ann was a vibrant woman, who chaired the annual Charity Ball, and was on the board of Covington Protestant Children’s Home.
At 38 years old, she started a new career and worked diligently as a medical assistant for Dr. Moser, Huller & Perry for 22 years. Due to her tireless work ethic and ambition, she was promoted to office manager. She continued working in the medical field as a mentor even after she retired and moved to Florida with her cherished husband, Bill.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bill Cook; daughters: Kerry (Alan) Moore, Connie (Mark) Norberg, and Christy (Steve) Schutter. Preceded in death by her only son, Clay Cook and grandson, Drew Norberg. Mary Ann will be greatly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren who knew her affectionately as “Mim”.

Mary Ann was a loving, kind, creative, intelligent woman who will be greatly missed, but whose spirit lives on in everyone’s lives she touched.

Any donations to a local food bank or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by clicking on the following link St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Donation would be appreciated.

A celebration of life will be arranged later in the summer.

We truly treasured Mary Ann. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out.

There Are No Words

Billy, there are no words that can come close to healing your broken heart. But, know that I am so sorry for your loss. Although its been about 30 years since I last saw you and Mary, you both have always been in my thoughts. I still remember visiting with you and Mary when we were teenagers. She was then and always your best friend. Your cousin, Tom

Sending Love and Prayers

To say Mary Ann Cook was beautiful inside and out is an understatement. She was the epitome of a gracious hostess, and someone I have looked up to ever since I was a young child. She was stylish, ladylike, loving and nurturing. Mary Ann was the most devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She left a beautiful mark on the world she touched and she will be greatly missed. Her spirit lives on in her large and close family. I know your hearts are broken-may the love, support and prayers of family and friends sustain you during your grief.
Justice Michelle Keller
