Larry M. Rhoads
Larry M. Rhoads, 70, passed away Monday January 22, 2024, at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, KY. Larry worked in I.T. for Dow Jones for 20 plus years and later retired from Pomeroy I.T. Solutions after 15 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. Larry’s two greatest loves were his family and fishing. He loved to be outdoors with his family, especially fishing Lake Erie for Walleye’s. Preceded in death by his brother Paul Rhoads, Survivors include his wife Brenda Rhoads, son Larry (Katie) Rhoads II, son Lester Rhoads, sister Joann Bostwick and sister Leslie Rhoads. Also surviving are his grandchildren Harper, Colton and Cooper, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday February 3, 2024 at 11am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington, KY. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation Serving Kentucky 161 St Matthews Ave Apt 3, Louisville, KY 40207. Sending a treasured father to heaven is one of the hardest goodbyes.
Larry and family,
I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting this your dad, but it doesn’t stop me from grieving for you all. There are no words that can be said to ease the pain, but please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. Didn’t Larry Sr survive a tractor accident years ago? The Lord was with him then and he is truly with him now. Larry Sr. raised a wonderful son, that’s for sure.
