Judith Kappes

Judith Ann “Judy” Kappes, 68, of Erlanger, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at her home. Judy was a secretary at Mary Queen of Heaven School, Erlanger, and a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include her husband, Tom; sons, Tom (Coleen) of Burlington, Tim (Kathy) of Independence, and Kevin (Dawn) of Florence; daughter, Karen (Larry) Kleisinger of Hebron; sister, Mary Jo (Jack) Banta of Villa Hills; brothers, Andy (Betty) Kessans of Warsaw, Mike (Jen) Kessans of Florence, Rick Kessans of Stamping Ground, Ky.; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 10, at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, with Mass immediately following at 7 p.m. A reception will follow the Mass at the Church undercroft. Inurnment at Mother of God Columbarium, Latonia. Memorials: St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017; or in the form of spiritual bouquets (Masses).
