Harold Hacker, 80, went to his heavenly home Friday, June 23, 2023, at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. He worked as a Railroad Conductor with Norfolk Southern for over 20yrs. Harold was a long- time member of Kento-Boo Baptist Church and a Marine Corp. Veteran. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was fun-loving and was always known to have kind and encouraging words for those he came in contact with. He was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family, his church, and the community. He always tried to see the good in people. He was preceded in death by his son Dale A. Hacker and sisters Geraldine Hammonds, Marilyn Newton, Shirley Spegal, and Allene Tucker. He is survived by his loving wife of over 55 years, Kathleen Hacker (nee Schunder), daughter Colleen (Don) Warman, brother Rick (Sue) Hacker, brother Dale (Cindy) Hacker, sister Diane Bearden, brother-in-law Dan Tucker Sr., brother-in-law Bill (Joan) Schunder; his beloved grandchildren Garrett Warman, Delaney Warman, Derek Hacker, and many precious nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 10 am to 12 pm with funeral services to follow at Kento-Boo Baptist Church 634 Kentaboo Ave, Florence, KY 41042. Burial will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kento-Boo Baptist Church 634 Kentaboo Ave, Florence, KY 41042.
