Gem Marie Combs (Reckers) 51, of Florence, KY passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 27th,
2011. Married to the love of her life, Joseph M. Combs for 31 years. Loving mother to daughter Nicole
Sturdivant (Ira), and son Matthew Combs (Jamie). Devoted Nana to Mikiah and Jozee Sturdivant, Cody,
Abby, and Blake Combs. Best sister ever to Clarissa Embree, Shirley Bruns (George), Thomas J. Reckers
Jr. and Mark Reckers (Lynn). Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Gem was known for her love of Life,
family and friends. Visitation will take place on Wednesday May 4th from 12-2pm at Linnemann Funeral
Homes Erlanger. A short service will follow at 2:00. Memorial contributions to Hospice of the Bluegrass
7388 Turfway Rd. Florence, KY 41042.
