Elmer Lee Smith

Elmer Lee Smith, 80, of Florence, KY, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at University of Cincinnati Hospital surrounded by his family. Elmer retired from Proctor and Gamble where he worked in the maintenance department. He enjoyed spending time with family, whom he loved dearly, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Addie Smith; and his siblings, Raymond, Jerry Wayne, Forrester, Edwin, and Martha.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Bernice Smith; his daughters, Sherry (Gary) Hoffman and Selena (Brad) McKean; his grandchildren, Megan (Marcus) Blanton, Cole Hoffman, and Paige Hoffman; his sisters, Bonnie, Lettie, and Patty; and his brothers, Boyce, Jimmy, and Dowell.

Elmer also leaves behind his best friend and furry companion, Dixie.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10:00AM-1:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY. A funeral service for Elmer will follow the visitation at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.
