Dottie Elizabeth Swikert, 92, of Edgewood, KY passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY on Sunday, September 24, 2023.  Dottie was born in Covington, KY on July 15, 1931 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Dreyer) Knochelman.  She was a homemaker and loved her job working as a cosmetic consultant with McAlpin’s and Dillard’s.  Dottie was a member of St. Pius X Church and the Boston Terrier Club.  She enjoyed cooking and hosting family birthdays and watching old movies with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her husband Glenn George Swikert, her sister Rosemary DeGrummond and her sister Sr. Mary Virgila S.N.D.  She is survived by her children: Donald Swikert (Nancy), Dian Swikert, Darlene Clifford (Rick), David Swikert (Jeanne), Dennis Swikert (Terri), and Douglas Swikert (Angie) and grandchildren: Kevin, Montine, Katie, Jessie, Rikki Clifford (Jon Leonard), Caitlyn, Tonya Kucera (Matt), Tyler, Corey Hlebak (Liz), Taylor Woodruff (Derek), Shannon, Joseph, Daniel, Ashley Busald (Ethan), Brandon, Alex Madoffori (Jon), and Alyson, Amy Harris and great grandchildren Mila, Sofia, Azaia, Emery, Easton, Everett, Grayson, Cora, Lily, Lincoln, and Jaycelyn.  The visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood, KY with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow.  Entombment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Sisters of Notre Dame, 1601 Dixie Hwy., Park Hills, KY 41011 or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

So very sorry for your loss
