Dennis A. Nolan, 78, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. He was born September 28, 1944 in Covington, KY to the late John and Dorothy Nolan. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S Army. Dennis was a devout Catholic, and he was a member of St. Henry Church in Elsmere, KY. He enjoyed being an usher at church, and he was involved with their “That Man is You” men’s group as well. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3908 (Fr. Bealer Council), and the Bishop Flaget Assembly. In his free time, Dennis enjoyed fishing, woodworking and reading. His brother, Robert Nolan preceded him in death. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Anne Nolan (nee: Fay), his beloved siblings: Patricia, Paul and Kathy Nolan, his brother-in-law, Chuck Fay (Joyce), his nieces and nephews: Amanda Belt, Katie and Michael Nolan, and Brian, Jason, Kevin (Erica) and Shawn (Ashley) Fay, and his great nieces: Michel Belt, and Kiera, Fallon and Ava Fay. A memorial visitation will be held for Dennis on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at St. Henry Church, 3813 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018. A memorial Mass will be held immediately following at 10:00 AM at the Church. Dennis will be laid to rest in private at Mother of God Cemetery at the convenience of his family. Memorial contributions can be made to the Knight of Columbus Council #3908 at 605 Lytle Avenue, Elsmere, KY 41018 or to St. Henry Church at the address listed above.
