Connie (Nee Burkhardt) King, beloved wife for 26 years of Gary W. King, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

She was born to the late Richard and Cecile Burkhardt on October 7, 1955.

Connie delighted in having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her. She enjoyed summer nights at camp around a bonfire with smores, and cooking delicious meals especially during the holidays.

Connie is survived by her husband Gary King; children Dawn (John) Kuchar, Jason King, and Anjanette (Mike) Stautberg; grandchildren Brittney, Karylanne, (Ryan), David (Kristina) Shelby, Jake, and Ava; great-grandchildren Brennan and Alayna; siblings Susan (Tony) Murray, Kathy (Steve) Eberle and Rick (Lori) Burkhart; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation celebrating Connie’s life will be held form 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY. Interment and committal service will be held at Burlington Cemetery, following the visitation.

If desired, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

I only grew to know Connie well her last year at Toyota. She was such an incredible woman…. Always friendly & always giving. I can honestly say that she was one of the warmest people that I’ve ever met. Prayers go out to her & her entire family. She is truly missed by many.
