Cecilia Sandman

Cecilia M. Sandman, of Covington, KY went to be with the lord on Thursday September 20, 2012 at
Gallatin Health Care at the age of 100. Mrs. Sandman was the owner of Sandman Liquor in Covington,
KY and former owner of New Casino Night Club in Covington. She was President of Golden Age Club at
Mother of God Church, 15 year volunteer at St. John Nursing Home, and former President of P.O.O.R.
Mrs. Sandman was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Joseph Sandman and brothers, Melvin,
William, Harold, and Robert Borne. She is survived by her loving sons, Wayne J. (Patricia) Sandman of
Erlanger, KY, Dr. Gregory (Mary Kay) Sandman of Rockford, MI, sister, Vivian Abrams of Covington, KY,
brother, Donald Borne of Independence, KY. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren,
and 4 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 25, 2012 from 10am to 12pm
at Mother of God Church, Covington, KY; with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12pm. Burial will be
at Mother of God Cemetery Covington, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to Autism Speaks.
