Betty W. Sallee, 89 of Union, KY passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Villaspring of Erlanger.  Betty was born in Covington, KY on August 14, 1933 to the late Horace and Louise Woody.  During her younger years, Betty attended Dixie Heights High School where she was very active in numerous clubs and organizations.  She later went on to attend the University of Kentucky.  Betty had a passion for animals and antiques and operated the Burlington Antique Shop for many years.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Charles Sallee Jr. and her daughter Lisa Sallee.  She is survived by her son Chuck Sallee (Linda), son Mark Sallee, daughter Sue Sallee, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and sister Linda Renz (Jim).  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 5pm until 8pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY.  A funeral service will take place on Thursday August 25, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home.  The interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Ft. BETTY SALLE WAS A MENTOR, A FRIEND, AND JUST ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER KNOWN. SHE TAUGHT EDDIE AND I SO MUCH ABOUT THE ANTIQUE BUSINESS AS WE HAD A SHOP NEXT TO HERS FOR MANY YEARS. TRULY ONE OF THE KINDEST MOST SELFLESS PERSON I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF CALLING MY FRIEND. WE LOVED HER DEARLY.
