Brenda Cope
Loving Mother and Friend
Brenda Sue Cope, age 72 of Burlington, Kentucky sadly passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Florence Hospital. Brenda was born to the late Glen and Sarah Ackley on April 3, 1949 in Fleming County, Kentucky. She worked as a deputy county clerk for many years before retiring. Brenda also enjoyed raising saddlebred horses with her late husband, Earl Cope. She was a Christian woman, devout in prayer.
Brenda is preceded in death by her two brothers, Harry and Larry Ackley.
She is survived by her son, Jeff (Hanna) Cope, her grandson, Joshua Cope, her nieces; Lisa (Jim) Wehner, Debbie (Gary) Wilson, Connie (Bruce) Ducker, her sister in law, Kay Ackley and her two children; Kim Carrender, and Sarah Robbins, and by Jeff and Gina Billiter.
A visitation will be held for Brenda on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a service to immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Burlington Cemetery.
