Weston Ronald Loomer

Weston Ronald Loomer, 80, of Walton, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at his residence. He was an engineer for Litton Unit Handling System for over 24 years. Wes was awarded 27 patents for his work and won numerous awards including Engineer of the Year for the state of Kentucky in 1985. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Elsie Doty Loomer; his sister, Caroline Rebecca Loomer; his step-daughter, Shelley Baughn Mayo; and a brother who passed away at birth. Wes is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janlyn Martin Loomer of Walton, KY; his daughter, Priscilla Jane “PJ” (Will Crockett) Loomer of Hope, NM; his sons, Weston L. Loomer of Crestview Hills, KY, and Blaine M. (Nancy Johns) Loomer of Walton, KY; his step-daughter, Lori Baughn Byrd of Cincinnati, OH; his sisters, Jean (Clarence) Norrbom of Coon Rapids, MN, and Betty (Richard) Lucke Vacaville, CA. He also leaves behind his 4 step-grandchildren, Lindsay, Drew, Blake, and Natalie.
