Robert “Bob” Bockelman age 91, of Erlanger, died on December 19th. Bob was born to Carl and Marie Bockelman in 1926. He later married Margaret and they had two wonderful children together. Bob was an Army Veteran and loving father and husband, but his passion for golf was well known too. Playing with the same putter he had as a child, Bob served as the secretary treasurer of the Meadow Wood Golf Course Senior League for many years. He was a member at St. Henry for 60 years with his wife Margaret. Bob was also an accomplished puzzler. The harder the puzzle the better. He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him. He is preceded in death by both parents; wife, Margaret; grandson, Phillip and sisters, Dorothy Jones and Margaret Hauser. He is survived by son, Gary (Cecile) Bockelman; daughter, Amy (Steve) Curley; grandchildren, Stephanie and Brian Curley, Meredith Raymond, and Andrew Bockelman and great-grandchildren, Branick, Gabe, Colin, Sydney, Kyler, Hailey, Harlie and Aiden. A visitation will be on Saturday, Dec. 23rd from 10AM to 12PM at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger immediately followed a service and burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Donations in Bob’s name can be made to his late nephews’ memorial funds. Joseph M.
