William Bankemper Jr.

FLORENCE – William J. Bankemper Jr., 83, died Wednesday, May 12, at his home.

He was a machinist for 40 years with R. A. Jones Co. in Crescent Springs.

His wife, Ida LaVerne Bankemper and granddaughter, Jamie Finkenstedt, died previously.

Survivors include his sons, Jerry Bankemper of Erlanger and John Bankemper of Mason, Ohio; daughters, Denise Truesdale and Colleen Cornelius, both of Florence; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Monday, May 17, with blessing following at Linnemann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Erlanger. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
