Thomas D. (Tom) Tandy, 71 of Erlanger, died suddenly on October 9, 2022. Tom was born on February 12, 1951 to the late Whitfield and Hazel (Hackworth) Tandy in Richmond, KY.

Tom was the owner of Thoroughbred Gates and Security, specializing in controlled access systems and infrastructure. He had a deep love of travel and fine food, exceeded only by the joy of planning those experiences for his family and friends. He is a graduate of Henry Clay High School in Lexington and attended the University of Kentucky. Tom was an organ and tissue donor through Trust for Life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Sharon Tandy. Tom is survived by his loving wife Florence Wade Tandy, his children Wade Thomas Tandy (Laura Onken) and Evelyn Elizabeth Tandy, and his granddaughter, Avery Colette Tandy.

There will be a memorial reception on Wednesday October 19th at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger from 4-6 PM.In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to: Bluegrass Care Navigators. Online condolences can be left at: www.LinnemannFuneralHomes.com
