Condolences

I am sorry for your family’s loss. I appreciate having had the opportunity to meet and visit with Steve at meetings after I joined forces with AOC in 2019. He was kind, professional, and had a wonderful smile. I am glad to read about his devoted family and extend my condolences to all those of you who cherished him most. May Steve rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him. Well done, good and faithful servant.
Sincerely,
Leslie Newman
Henderson District Judge Div II

Rest Easy

It was my honor to have known and worked with Wolfe. He will be great missed.

Rest in Peace, Brother

I met Steve as a Rookie Trooper in 1993 at Post 6 and he was always helpful and kind to me during my 6 years there. I was fortunate to see him a few more times over the years and catch up while he worked in Frankfort and I was assigned to Executive Security. Rest in Peace, brother.

Rest in peace my friend

I first met “Wolfie” when I transferred to Post 6 in 1993. We worked together until I transferred to Post 12 in 2000. After I retired in 2008, I too went to work as a court security coordinator for the Administrative Office of the Courts. Steve had been working there for several years and he was a great help to me as I became acclimated to my new position. Steve was always a good friend and co-worker. I will miss your weekly texts with jokes, updates and words of encouragement. Rest in peace my friend.

Lieutenant Todd Henson, Retired

A true and dependable friend

I first met Steve or Wolfie as we called him when we were classmates in the Kentucky State Police Academy, Class #58. We worked together at Post 6, Dry Ridge for several years before retiring. We then worked once again together at the Administrative Office of the Courts in Frankfort. Wolfie was always a true and compassionate person. He was always ready to help in whatever was needed. He was a quiet, soft-spoken person but one you always wanted in your corner if something happened. I will miss our conversations and your laugh ole friend. Rest in Peace, my brother. We will meet again. Prayers to Steve’s family.

Trooper Roger Fuller/Retired

A brother missed

I had the privilege of working with Steve as a rookie trooper and was able to work with him for my first four or five years on. He never hesitated to go out of his way to help me for anything. Since his retirement, stay in contact with him, for at least the last 20+ years. Such a privilege to call him friend and brother he was just such a good and friendly soul.
