Stephen Struve

Stephen H. Struve, 79, passed away on October 17, 2020 at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. Stephen worked loading and unloading barges on the river, but most importantly, he was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Ward; his second wife, Nadine Struve; his children, Robert Struve, Nancy Smith, and Steven Struve Jr.; and his granddaughter Hailey Thornberry. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Hollingsworth and Pamela Struve; and several step-children. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Carol Struve, James Struve, Ralph Struve, Samantha Struve, Amanda Trusty, Stephanie Struve, Cecily Thornberry, Robert Struve, Clifford Struve, David Smith, and Sarah Downing; and numerous great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, November 7^th from 2-3PM @ Rosedale Baptist Church, Covington. Memorial contributions to the charity of donor’s choice.
