Stalin “Stal” R. Rocas, 46, entered eternal life on Friday, December 7, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence Kentucky.

Selfless, generous and loving, Stalin Rocas was the quintessential family man. A warm, caring husband and a devoted father, his commitment to his loved ones were boundless. Stal was a gentleman with a kind and compassionate spirit who always worked hard and sacrificed in order to provide a better life for those he held dear. Described as an ‘old soul’, Stal was gifted with the ability to accurately intuit what was in the hearts of others and to tactfully share his wisdom with them. His acts of kindness and optimism have positively influenced the lives of countless people during his time on this earth, and those he touched will always remember the impact he had on their lives.

Stal’s father Alfonso Rocas and brother Pedro Rocas preceded him in death. Stal will be dearly missed by his wife of 19 yrs, Catina Rocas; sons: Marcus and Devin Rocas; mother Dina Rocas McMann; brothers Martin (Debbie) Rocas and Tony McClanahan; as well as many family members and friends. A great friend and mentor

Stalin, you were a very knowledgeable, and great friend. For 12 weeks, you made it a priority to teach and get me ready to take over a position, take that “small step,” that you felt I was almost ready to take. Through various lunches and dinners, you taught me the things I can work on to better my future, whether it be with the same company, or another.
Scattered amongst those conversations, were plans of your future, lacrosse, and how proud you were of your boys, and how much you missed spending time with your wife during the revolving door of finding prospective employees at Fayette. You were truly a great man and I will always hold dear the conversations we had. Rest peacefully Stal.

“Day In and Day Out”

Memories…to many to count! I started as a security officer for south county mall back in 2012…you believed in me…and gave me an opportunity to show you what I could do…you promoted me to Director of security at st.claire square mall in 2014, I then was promoted again in 2016 to Operations and Security Director at st. Claire square, and left the company to become a police officer, something that I’ve wanted for a long time. I can not express to you how much you influenced me, I am who I am today because you believed in me! I can’t believe you are gone, but everyone who knew you can agree when I say…you will be missed.. “Day In and Day Out” RIP my friend

Sorry for your loss

He was a good person

Gone, but never Forgotten!

I have known you since 2014, when you hired me as your Director to oversee the Greentree Mall! Ever since then you have been such an aspiration in my life! You were by far the best boss I have ever had the chance of working for! I still can’t believe your gone, but I will never forget how you have influenced me to be a better leader as well as a better person all around. I miss you Stalin and wish to god I would get another call, text, or email from you. Every time I look at my phone I hope it would be you asking if I had a minute to call you :’-( Thank you Stalin Rocas for all you’ve done for me in my life. God rest your soul and may the heavens shine on you for eternity! Your faithful subordinate, Michael Becker!
