Samuel  Sam” Spille, 31, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 after a brave battle with cancer. Born on May 24, 1990 in Edgewood, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of Thomas Spille and Cosette Raleigh. Sam was a true public servant and had a deep passion for helping others. With an infectious smile, Sam was a dedicated first responder who served with Boone County Water Rescue and the Ft. Mitchell Fire Department. Sam always had a willingness to help anyone in need and courageously served his community. Left to cherish Sam’s memory are his wife, Samantha “Sam” Spille, mother, Cosette (Dale) Raleigh, father, Thomas (Tonia) Spille and brother, Chris Spille. Sam also leaves behind his step sisters, Meagan Stehlin, Tosha Cobler and step brother, Ian Cobler. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, Kentucky with a service following at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Boone Co. Water Rescue Assoc., PO Box 149 Burlington, KY 41005.

Sweet Sam

Sam was in my 4th Grade class at N KY Christian school… such a gentle-natured and kind-hearted boy. I’m so pleased to know that he led such a productive life, and sad to know it was cut so short.
