Ruth Anna Reeves

Ruth Anna Reeves, 96 of Florence, passed away Sunday August 29, 2021. Ruth was the matriarch of her family and loved spending time with them, especially going to all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting games. She enjoyed fixing up and redecorating her house and playing cards with family and friends. Ruth always was the happiest when she was able to entertain and cook for her family and friends. She retired in 1990 after 32 years with Dobbs International/Gate Gourmet. Ruth was a very dedicated, hardworking and determined and loving woman and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Ruth is survived by her children: Patty (Marc) Brown, Gary (Sue) Reeves, and Jan (Jim) Baum, grandchildren: Anna Brown, Nicholas (Shannon) Brown, Kimberly Brown, Chris (Shannon) Brown, Julie (Steve) Bailey, Michael (Ali) Reeves, and Ian Baum, great-grandchildren: Aidan, Rowan, Declan, Krew, Cassius, Lennox, Zachary, Brianna, Mitchell, Isabelle, Benjamin, Charles and Lauren, siblings: Mary Scheitz, Majorie Mader, and James Berling, and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Arthur Reeves, siblings: Sister Mary Bertha Berling, Laverne Groeschen, Fred Berling, Paul Berling, and Robert Berling and grandson: Nathan Baum.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Erlanger, KY from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Barbara Church at 10:00 am with a reception to follow. Burial will be held privately at Evergreen Cemetery.
