Ronda Leigh Hart

Ronda Leigh Hart (nee Patterson), 56, of Burlington, KY, formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 of complications from ALS. Ronda worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner for St. Elizabeth Physicians for over 15 years where she gained her most precious friendships. As a Tennessee fan, she enjoyed rivalries with these Kentucky friends; sometimes forced to wear Kentucky blue when she lost a bet.

On the softer side, Ronda was creative; loved all crafting, baking, and especially painting in later years. She loved animals, supported the Cincinnati Zoo and followed the life of Fiona the Hippo. She enjoyed live music and traveling to shows with friends and family. Her favorite travel destinations always involved a beach or mountain cabin.  She enjoyed spending time with and being there for her friends and family. She loved helping her patients and was committed to their success.

Ronda was preceded in death by her father, Ronald W. Patterson. Also preceded in death by her beloved dogs Ajax, Cassie, and Sophie.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 36 years, Bob Hart of Burlington, KY; her mother, Vivian Patterson of Knoxville, TN; her sister, Kerry Patterson of Knoxville, TN; and her niece Sara and husband Cody Haug of Knoxville, TN. Also, she leaves behind her best beagle dog Molly of Burlington, KY. She was grateful for her aunts, uncles, many cousins and other extended family throughout her life.

A Celebration of Life for Ronda will be Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY. A celebration in Knoxville, TN will be scheduled.
