Ronald “Ron” Siemer

Ronald Siemer, 85 of Erlanger, passed away on November 29, 2022. Ron was born on April 2, 1937 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Henry and Stella Siemer. Ron proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He used his G.I. bill to earn a bachelors degree from Thomas More College while working full-time at Western & Southern Life Insurance Company. Ron was a part of the Big Brothers of Greater Cincinnati and Junior Achievement Programs. In his spare time he enjoyed coaching softball, playing tennis, bridge and bowling.

 Ron was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Samantha Siemer, great-granddaughter: Brooklyn Terry and brother: Jerome Siemer. Ron is survived by his wife of 64 years: Carolyn Siemer, daughters: Jean (Ray) Niebling, Lisa (Dave) Meier, Sue (Dave) Stein, Sandy (John) Snavely, Judy (Mike) Zeigelmeyer, son: Mike (Ashley) Siemer, grandchildren: Chris (Maria) Terry, Ryan Niebling, Jacqui (Jason) Smith, Joe (Virginia) Meier, Dee Meier, Anne Stein, Elaine (Matt) Wagel, Victoria Snavely, Drew (Jennifer Lee) Ziegelmeyer, Donnie Poore, Jeff (Meagan) Poore and Greg (Katie) Siemer, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters: Ann Koehl and Jean Whittle.

Visitation will be held on December 2, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on December 3, at 10am at St. Henry Catholic Church.
