Rodney Edwin McGlasson, 90, of Hebron, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Villa Springs Care Center in Erlanger, KY.  Rodney was born and raised on the McGlasson Farm in Hebron, KY, where he farmed along with his family for now 6 generations. He loved tending to his blackberry patch and spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren. Additionally, he was a longtime member of Hebron Lutheran Church.

After retirement he and his wife Jean enjoyed vacationing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and traveling on several cruises.  He enjoyed woodworking and selling lumber cut from his sawmill on the farm.  Even after retirement he would visit the farmstand daily in his golf cart to reminisce with customers about a lifetime spent farming with his family.

Rodney was preceded in death by his son, Les McGlasson; and his siblings, Virginia Earle Stutzman and Richard McGlasson.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 71 years, Betty Jean McGlasson (nee Ryle); his son, Lon (Ginny) McGlasson; his sister, Selma Conrad; and his daughter-in-law, Jennifer McGlasson.

Rodney also leaves behind his 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services for Rodney are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
