Richard Thielen

ERLANGER – Richard “Dick” Thielen, 62, died Saturday, Dec. 26, at his home.

He was a salesman. He was also an Eagle Scout, a member of Xavier University ROTC, the Southgate VFW, and a member of St. Henry Church, Elsmere.

His wife, Vikki Thielen, died previously.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Sherline of Toledo; son, Todd Thielen of Fort Wright; sisters, Cheryl Zalzal, Marilyn Thielen and Darlene Thielen, all of Cincinnati; brother, David Thielen of Cincinnati; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at St. Henry Church in Elsmere. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, St. Bernard.
