Raymond Howard Tucker, 95, of Burlington, KY passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in the comfort of his home. He was born on October 16, 1923 in Union, KY to the late Lovell and Margaret Tucker. Raymond proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during WWII. After returning home from the war Raymond worked around the family farm before starting his career at Tates in Erlanger. He worked at Tates for a few years before taking a job at Montgomery Ward in Covington, KY. Raymond attended Burlington Baptist Church in Burlington, KY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Tucker (nee: Starks), second wife, Emma Mae Tucker “Kitty”, daughter, Debra Jean Tucker, and his sister: Ruth Tucker Jarrell. Raymond was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, and his survivors include: daughter, Connie Williams (Larry), grandchildren: Rae Ann Spalding, and James French Spalding (Amanda), his great-grandchildren: Miranda Spalding, Willow White, Victoria Spalding, and James “Zeke” Spalding, and his brother: Jack Tucker (Lillian). A visitation will be held for Raymond on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 11am until 1pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Burlington Cemetery following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Burlington Baptist Church at 3031 Washington Street, Burlington KY 41005.
