Paul Yvon Robert Hurier, 79, of Cincinnati, OH passed away on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 at Christ Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born to the late Victor Georges and Hélène Marie (nee: Pierron) Hurier in Nantes, France in 1940. He proudly served in the French Armed Forces before moving to the United States in 1964. He was preceded in death by his wife Constance Mary (nee: Franer, d.1993) and brothers, Christian, René and Michel Hurier. Survivors include his loving children, Francis (Amy) Obermeyer, Raphael (Brandi) Hurier, Gabriel Hurier (Lacey Fekishazy), Damien (Wendi) Hurier, Natalie (Reilley) Carran, Philip (Katie) Hurier, Vincent Hurier and Jean-Luc Hurier. Paul  also leaves behind his eldest brother Claude (Mario) Hurier, the extended Franer family, and 16 grandchildren, Connie, Kalyn, Lucy, Trent, Xander, Reese, Charlie, Josalie, Camilla, Roman, Finnigan, Cassian, Georgiana, Pippa, Gideon and Zaelo. Paul was a very loving father and grandfather, raised his children with hard work and great selflessness after the early death of his wife, and was always a cheerful and loyal companion. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 from 8am to 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10am. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Cincinnati, OH.
