Blessings to Nora’s Family

Hello Lisa, Brenda and family,
Thank you for sending Nora’s obituary to The Villages Daily Sun. My husband Rich and I did not know Nora, we moved to The Villages and purchased her home in 2019 from Michelle Mayer who purchased it from Nora. We have heard lovely things about Nora from our neighbors who remember her. Her neighbor, Ann, passed away last year after going home to Michigan with her son. Ann would tell me that when Nora and she had visitors that they would share their spare bedroom with one another. We love the house your Mother purchased, we love the floor plan. It’s just right for us. Michelle did some remodeling and we did a little more. It’s a lovely home with the marvelous view of the preserve. I’m sure you came here often to visit your Mother and know the area well. My Mother was also born in 1930, so she and Nora would have been the same age. My mother would have loved to have lived her in The Villages! I think about that often. I’m sure you were happy to see her happy down here in Florida. I just wanted to share my condolences with you. You’ll always miss your Mom.
