Niki Carol Hodges

Niki Carol Hodges, 79, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023, surrounded by her family at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood, KY.  Niki was born in Elizabethtown, OH on June 7, 1943, to the late Charles and Florence (Clift) Hedrick.

She was a member of Kento-Boo Baptist Church. During her life, Niki enjoyed reading, quilting, cross stitching, farming alongside her husband and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was a faithful servant to her Lord, Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gene Hodges Sr. to whom she was happily married for 59 years.

She is also preceded in death by her siblings Edwin Hedrick, Kay Lockwood, and Sherry Smith.  She is survived by her siblings Judith Wilson, Bonita (Lynn) Justice, Tracy Fleek, Gary (MaryAnn) Hedrick, Debra (Randall) Gripshover, Janice Deno, sons Donald (Kim) Hodges Jr., Charles (Tracey) Hodges, and Adam (Amanda) Hodges, grandchildren Bridget (Jake) Giese, Caleb, Evan, Malorie, and Travis Hodges, Brendan Wilkinson, great-grandchildren Jaxson and Weston and many nieces & nephews.

Niki’s life will be celebrated during a visitation on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 10am to 12pm with a funeral service following at Linnemann Funeral Home 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY.  Niki will be laid to rest at Bullitsburg Cemetery, Petersburg, KY.
