Condolences

Michael Louis Green, 81 of Scott Depot, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care, Edgewood, Kentucky.

Michael was born in Ashland, Kentucky on December 16, 1941, to the late William and Dora Green. Michael was a proud member of the West Virginia Trophy Hunters Association. He had a passion for the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Michael was a devoted University of Kentucky fan, an amateur wine maker, a talented artist who loved to paint but most importantly a family man who dearly loved his family, his granddaughters, and great-granddaughters.

In addition to his parents Michael is preceded in death by his brother Bill Green, and his daughter, Heather Bruseth. Michael is survived by his loving wife Judith Green, son Andrew Green (Angela), grandchildren Hillary Harvey (Steve), Danielle Bruseth, Megan Strasser (Joe), Mallory Green and great grandchildren McKenzie Harvey and Maeve Strasser.

Family will be handling services at a later date for Michael.

Friendship Force

I met Mike through Friendship Force and became friends with him and Judy. Wonderful couple and enjoyed working with him at FF.


Great co-worker

Please accept my deepest condolences! I worked with Mike at the Union Carbide Tech Center. Mike was a a special co-worker. We have several of his food recipes, and will always remember Mike when we use them.
