Matthew S. Wibberley, 46 of Edgewood, passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer on November 3, 2023.  Matt was born on March 13, 1977 in Putnam, Connecticut to Sam and Cynthia Wibberley. Matt was an honest, driven man and cared for all those he met. He was a hard worker for Netstal and served as their Area Sales Manager. In his free time, he loved playing basketball, going on hikes in nature, collecting bourbon, and going to concerts. He also loved the thrill of trying new things in all the places he traveled, from Angola to Israel to Australia! Most importantly, Matt loved his family. Family always came first in his life. Matt was supportive of his family here and in Lithunania. He was so proud of his sons and all they accomplished. Matt was a fierce fighter to the very end and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father: Sam Jonathan Wibberley. Matt is survived by his wife: Inga Wibberley (nee Kazanina), sons: Logan and Evan Wibberley, mother: Cynthia Wibberley, mother-in-law: Elena Giriuniene, brother: Christopher Wibberley, sister: Luisa (Adam) Bowles, sister: Faith Satterfield, brother: Jonathan (Lynelle) Wibberley, sister-in-law: Diana (Houssam) Kassri, and nieces and nephews: Victoria, Veronica, Winter, Heaven, Violet, August, Elias, and Lea.

We would like to express our sincere condolences to the Wibberley Family. We had the opportunity to work with Matt on many occasions and he was a wonderful person. Memorable times

Prost, to one of my closest friends. Every time I was around Matt it was very memorable.

We always had a good time together no matter whether we were going to concerts, playing basketball, or even working.

I was even with Matt when he met his lovely wife Inga.

So many great times no one can ever take away.

I think nothing but happy thoughts when I think of Matt and his family.

My deepest condolences too everyone that was part of Matt’s family, his extended family, friends, co-workers & etc.

We’ve not only have lost a great friend but a person that had his people’s backs no matter the situation.

Rest in Peace my friend.

With love
Jim Meeks
