Mary Jo Banta, 79, entered eternal life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Her parents Andrew and Florence Kessans and sister Judith A. Kappes preceded her in death. Mary Jo will be dearly missed her loving husband of 59 years, John J. Banta; their children Gregory Shawn Banta (Jane), Victoria Dawn Banta, Michele A. Whisner (Randy), Theresa M. Wood (Tim); brothers: Andrew F Kessans (Betty), Michael J. Kessans (Jennifer) and Richard L. Kessans; 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; best friend Sparky, nieces and nephews as well as family members and friends. The family will have a private visitation at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY followed by interment at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia, KY. My heart goes out to the family
I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you must feel. I have found comfort in scriptures like Job 14:14,15 which remind me that God cares so deeply for us that he yearns for the day when he will bring us back to life on earth (John 5:28, 29). I hope that these words bring you comfort as well.
