Mary E. Peace-Nelson, 84, entered eternal life, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Florence Park Care Center in Florence KY. Mary was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, she loved to cook and travel, she also enjoyed horse racing and slot machines. Most of all she loved her family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents: George and Burnett Ennis; husbands: Wallace Peace, Sr. and Robert Nelson, Sr.; daughter Sandra Taylor and step-son Bobby Nelson, Jr. She will be dearly missed by her loving children: Terry Peace (Vicky), Sharon Milton (Gary), Wallace Peace, Jr., and Gary Peace (Gail); step-sons: Barry Nelson and Tom Nelson; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as many family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY followed by Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Petersburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association: 3703 Taylorsville Rd. Suite 102, Louisville, KY 40220.
