Margaret Stephens

Margaret W. Stephens, 94, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Green Valley Rehabilitation Center, Carrollton, KY. Margaret and her husband Pete were owners and publishers of the Boone County Recorder since 1938 until his death. She continued the Recorder and after that BC Printing for several years. Margaret was a member of the Burlington Baptist Church for 72 years, and longtime member of the Boone County Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Stephens. Margaret will be dearly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Burlington Baptist Church on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 10 AM to 12 PM with service at 12 PM and burial to follow at Burlington Cemetery in Burlington, KY. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Bluegrass, Burlington Baptist Church or charity of donor’s choice.
