Luke McPherson Dorger
Luke McPherson Dorger, age 25, of Burlington, KY passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2022. Luke was born on December 8, 1996 to Philip and Darlene Dorger. Luke loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Michael Dorger and Philip Dorger, along with his sister Amanda Dorger, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Sam and Betty Dorger and Edgar and Lena Helton, along with his uncle, Mike, cousin, Katie, and niece, Tristan. A visitation will be held for Luke on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A service will be held immediately following at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Luke will be laid to rest following the service at Belleview Baptist Cemetery in Belleview, KY.

Darlene and Phil,
I am saddened to learn this news about Luke. Please know that you and your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I have fond memories of Luke coming by the Allstate office for a visit when he was a young boy. Always a smile on his face and a joy to talk to.

A fine young man
As a friend of the family, I knew Luke as a child growing up and it is such a shame for this good young man to pass away so early in his life, it was enjoyable when his Father brought Luke along to different functions.
It’s not supposed to be that parents bury their children and my heart goes out to Darlene and Philip. May Luke have eternal peace in the comfort of God.
