Condolences

Loretta Lewis, 66, passed away with her family by her side Saturday, February 10, 2024, at
Baptist Health in Lexington, KY. Loretta was born on October 17, 1957, in Walton, KY to the
late Conley and Roxie Hall.

Loretta was a Boone County High School graduate of the class of 1976. She proudly served in
the United States Air Force as a mechanic and later went on become a phlebotomist. Loretta also
obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Kentucky University.

She had two wonderful children whom she never gave up on and adored, Daniel and Brittany.In her spare time, Loretta enjoyed camping, dancing, baking and cooking. She made the absolute, best homemade bread there was. Loretta loved her family more than anything and was always there for them no matter what the circumstances were. She was a great mother,
grandmother and friend that would always show up to love and support them. Loretta loved her grandkids and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered by her kind heart, candid sense of humor, and for always putting others first. For those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her, she will truly be missed.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Conley and Roxie Hall and her beloved cat, Logan.

Those left to carry on her legacy are her children, Daniel (Clancy) Lewis, Brittany (Shannon)
Lewis; daughter in law, Jennifer Kring; grandchildren, Kelsey Lewis, Raeghan Lewis, Viridiana
Lewis, Ewan Kring and her dear friend, Missy Estep.

In keeping with Loretta’s wishes, burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Loretta’s name to the Sierra Club
