FLORENCE – Laura Belton Chaney, 18, died Monday, May 11, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.
She was freshman at Western Kentucky University pursuing a communications degree and member of Sigma Kappa sorority.

Survivors include her parents Dave and Kay Chaney of Florence; brother, Allen Chaney of Florence; and grandparents, Alton and Betty Chaney.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at First Church of Christ, Burlington. Cremation will follow.
