Julie C. Rakel-Meyer, 67, passed away Thursday October 6, 2022 at her residence in Crestview Hills, KY. She worked as a Private Investigator and was a member of St Barbara Parish in Erlanger. Julie will forever be remembered for her keen wit and sense of humor, her passion for Broadway, tennis, current events and I Love Lucy, her discerning taste in music and fierce love of family and pets. Preceded in death by her parents Ted and Jane Rakel and brother David Rakel. Survivors include her husband Jerry Meyer, sister Francine (Roger) Weigand, brother Ted (Maureen) Rakel, sister in-law Joan Rakel, brother in-law Douglas (Wanda) Meyer, and several beloved beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday October 20, 2022 from 8:30am to 10am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St Barbara Church 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd, Erlanger, KY 41018. Burial will be held at St Mary Cemetery in Ft Mitchell, KY.
