John T. Beck, 65, of Crestview Hills, KY, died on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, after a long, hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Frances Beck, infant son John Joseph Beck and brother David Beck. John is survived by his loving wife Jean Beck; son Matthew (Linda) Beck of Villa Hills, KY; daughter Anne (Nate) Schleusner of Independence, KY, and Jean’s children Alex (Melissa) Foltz of Crestview Hills, KY; Steven Foltz of Burlington, KY. Pops greatly loved his seven grandchildren: Ty and Caroline Schleusner and Sophia, Emma, Landon, Ava, and Parker Foltz. John is also survived by his brother Matt Beck, and sisters Carole Motzer, Linda Christensen and Phyllis Beck.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4-6:30 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6:30 p.m.   Both visitation and the service will be held at Lakeside Christian Church, 195 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY. 41017. MY FRIEND JOHN

I JUST FOUND OUT THIS MORN, DEC 28, 2018 THAT JOHN PASSED IN SEPTEMBER VIA THE COVCATH JOURNAL.
WE WENT TO COVCATH TOGETEHER AND OUR BIRTHDAYS WERE ONLY SIX DAYS APART.
I HAVEN’T SEEN JOHN SINCE MAYBE ’81 AT OUR 10 YEAR REUNION.
JOHN WAS A GREAT FRIEND, A KIND MAN, AND A HELLUVA LOT OF FUN TO BE AROUND.
AS I SIT HERE TYPING THIS, MY MIND AND SOUL ARE FLOODING WITH MANY FOND MEMORIES.

WELL JOHN, I HOPE HEAVEN IS WHAT THEY TAUGHT US IT WOULD BE.
