On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, John Robert Webster, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather, passed away at age 78. John was born on May 14, 1940 in Covington, KY to Raymond and Dora Webster. On June 13, 1959, he married Rita Faye Webster (Wainscott). They raised two sons, John Jr. (Anna) and Jeff (Letty), and three daughters, Tammy Jump, Sandy Pauls (Rich) and Amy Steffen (Brad). He is also survived by his brothers, Roger, Mike (Karen), and Jack (Linda) as well as 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dora Webster, his son John Jr. and brother Dave Webster. John retired from Cincinnati Bell in 1991. He had a passion for restoring classic cars and collecting antiques. He enjoyed volunteering weekly at the Children’s Home. John was known for his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date. Online condolences to www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com.
