John Owens

Ft. Mitchell- John R. “Sonny” Owens, age 72, died July 2nd at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Florence. He worked at Weidman Brewing Co. He was preceded in death by his brother the late Billy Owen. Survivors include his daughter Pamela Leopold of Loveland, Ohio; a son John R. Owens, Jr. of Maineville, Ohio, 3 brothers, Jerry of Morehead , George of Latonia and Timmy of Erlanger; 5 sisters Rose McCarver of Texas, Violet Garneau of Covington, Linda Paynter of Alexandria, Darlene Cullum of Aurora, Indiana and Wanda Collins of Newport; 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday 11am-12noon with service following at Linnemann Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Erlanger. Entombment will in Highland Cemetery Mausoleum.
