A note from Jean’s family:

It is with sincere regrets that the family of Jean Marie Hale make the announcement that after an extremely careful and critical evaluation of the current and evolving Covid-19 situation in Kentucky, the decision has been made to cancel the in-person Visitation and Celebration of Life service on October 2, 2021. Instead we will hold a virtual remembrance service on  Saturday, October 2 at 11:00 AM EDT / 10:00AM CDT, etc.

There are several possible ways to join:

  1. Using Zoom on a desktop computer or laptop with a camera. This is the preferred choice of course.  It allows you to see and hear everyone else at the meeting and for them to see and hear you.
  2. Using a computer without a camera. You can join the meeting even if you don’t have a camera on your computing device.  Use Zoom per the instructions.  You will be able to see and hear everyone in the meeting and everyone will be able to hear you – we just will not be able to see you.
  3. Dialing in from a phone. You will be able to hear and talk to everyone, but you will not be able to see anyone else and they will not be able to see you.
  4. Join the meeting from a computer without a camera to see everything on a larger screen AND join from a phone so people can see you. You can join from more than one device.  Just remember to mute the mike and speaker on one device to prevent feedback.

Detailed Instructions for joining the Zoom meeting:

If you want to join the meeting, but do not want to Zoom, see the comment at the bottom of this notice. To join the Zoom meeting, click on this link:

If you have already used Zoom before or already have the Zoom client on your device, alternatively you can open the client and click on the box marked:  JOIN and enter the meeting ID.

Meeting ID: 868 4708 3653

Meeting Password: Jean

When the system displays your device name under the meeting ID, type over it with your name.

You can also go to and click Join a Meeting with the meeting ID/password that is above.  You do not have to download Zoom on to your device or create a zoom account.  You can download the Zoom client if you prefer.

You do not have to have a ZOOM account to join a meeting.  If you are asked to log in using Google, Facebook, or E-mail,  do not do so.  Logging is not required and is not part of the join meeting process.  You want to select JOIN instead of logging in.

While ZOOM will work on most phones, it is better to use a tablet, laptop, or desktop (with a camera) to better see other people on the meeting.

If you want to join the meeting, but do not want to use Zoom – you can call in from your phone.  At the prompts, enter the meeting ID followed by a pound sign (#).  When it asks for your participant ID, just enter a pound sign (#).

Sorry we can’t be with you

Dear Al and family,
We can’t seem to get into the service this morning. I guess there are tech issues. Please know that we are thinking of you and are with you in spirit. Love to you all.

Bob and I want you and your family and friends to know that we will be thinking of you all tomorrow, as you celebrate Jean’s life. She can Rest In Peace knowing that she was loved by you all and cared for, as any wife and mother can only pray for. Know that you all have a new angel, who was a trooper as she battled grave health issues, these past few yrs. Our hearts are with you,
Bev and Bob Armour
